PICIGIN
Apartment Picigin is named after the indigenous Dalmatian game. Picigin is a collective game that is played in the shallows no deeper than the knee (rarely up to the dogs), and partly on dry land. The number of players is not strictly determined. As a rule, players throw a small ball to their teammates with just one palm. The goal is to keep the ball in the game for as long as possible, ie in the air. Although it originally originated in Split, picigin has been played along the entire Croatian coast for decades, so that special local styles of play have developed in some places.
